Joanne Sparkes

Expedio is owned by Joanne Sparkes, formerly a medical physicist and manager of a radiation protection service within the NHS. She loves designing bespoke spreadsheets and dashboards for the analysis and presentation of data and is a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel, attaining 100% in the examination. There’s not much she can’t do with it. Recently she was also a semi-finalist in Microsoft’s Excel Champ International.

Huw Sparkes

Huw is a non-executive Director at Expedio, his major role being as an Investment Executive at one of the Midlands' most active venture funds. He supports SMEs with advice, connections and a network of over 100 portfolio companies.

At Expedio Huw is involved in product development, particularly in financial modelling. He's been involved with the business since a very young age and of course knows his way around spreadsheets. He's also responsible for the highest achieving Facebook advertising and email marketing campaigns that we've ever run.
